Bigmouthmedia wins ‘Best Use of Search’ award.

Leading search engine optimisation agency bigmouthmedia has just announced its acceptance of the
‘Best Use of Search’ award in the prestigious 2005 Imperatives Digital Awards.

This award was especially gratifying to the company as it included an open vote by members of the
public, in addition to a judging panel of industry experts. The panel included such luminaries as Owen
Gibson, New Media Editor for the Guardian newspaper; Rupert Marsh, head of the DTI; Danny Van
Emden, EMI Media Director and renowned usability expert, Catriona Campbell, chairman of The Usability
Company.

In the final vote, bigmouthmedia faced stiff competition from the likes of ‘search’ heavyweight Ask Jeeves,
as well as design agency Tamar, search technology group NetRank and fellow search engine marketers,
Greenlight.

The award marks the end of a year of tremendous growth for bigmouthmedia and gives recognition of the
many achievements made on behalf of the company’s clients over the last 12 months, - including
Moviemail, for whom traffic increased by almost 400% and online orders doubled.

Other categories in the awards included ‘Special Lifetime Achievement Award’, which went to Andy
Hobsbawm of Agency.com, ‘Hottest Start-up’, which went to Inventa (3G phone content provider). ‘Best
Site’ went to Multimap.com, ‘Best Interactive Agency’ went to Greenroom Digital, ‘Best Media Owner’
went to Virgin Radio and ‘Best

interactive Campaign’ went to Agency.com and the NSPCC.

A full list of the awards is available on the Netimperative website at http://www.netimperative.com

The awards, which were hosted by Robert Hamilton, founder of Scan Mobile and now occasional stand-
up comic, took place at the popular Café de Paris in London.

Andrew Girdwood, Technical Campaign Manager for bigmouthmedia, said of the event, “We’d like to
thank Netimperative for the enjoyable evening and congratulate all of the deserving winners on their
success. We are extremely pleased to win the award and look forward to seeing everyone at the awards
next year.”
